My first reaction when reading this thread is: "Y'all take this junk waaay too seriously."  Although, I value Getbig as it's a part of my life now, I respect Ron for allowing us to act the way we do (occassional discipline occurs, but it's cool), if some members have been able to make a buck or two because of exposure on Getbig I think that's great (for those in that category you owe Ron a debt of gratitude at minimum).  Regardless, there are too many people that can't seperate reality from the bullshit.   Yes, we have an Owning Squad, constant mudslinging and endless ribbing, dirty humor, an X-board breakfast club, gimmick accounts, a ton of colorful characters, religious and political debates, scandals, sex and of course bodybuilding (the only reason any of us sought out a board like this in the first place).   Granted some of us are much more dedicated to the sport and pursuit of bb, but all of us are most definitely fans of bb...that's why we're here.   I've been a member of this board since mid-2004 and I've never sent a complaint to a mod, a complaint to Ron, a negative PM to another member, I been relentlessly insulted and I've relentlessly insulted others, etc...I can't control someone's else negativity, but I certainly can control my own.   Now I'll slam almost every noob on this board simply to test their mettle....in the end of all that ribbing most of us are totally cool with each other.   Still, others push the envelope and attack the pro reps in the bb business, but so what if they do.....why can't we question and test those that represent bb.     Eh, all the endless debates over whose right and wrong, all the hurt feelings and all that mess is just bullshit.   


People, just enjoy the board and quit acting like a bunch of whiny, bonesacked tits and twats!   Oh brother!!

I can understand if you do that or even do something like work in a call centre or something where you get paid to sit around (at least, for a part of the shift). But 240 is a web designer

actually, it is pretty easy to do. i am working right now. i am an outside rep so i spend most of my day cold calling potential customers and sending emails. so i am on the computer all day doing work. right now i am on a call and writing this at the same time. not impossible to do.

For me, it is not the bodybuilder that endorses the supplement site that makes me decide where I buy my supplements . Its about the type and quality of supplements and who offers them at a better and cost effective price.

Sure, I have favorite bodybuilders but I dont purchase supplements directly from their sites  for the fact that I find other sites have the same supplements for a better price.

I price compare and usually either shop at 1fast400 or muscleshoppe for my supplements.

The owners of the supplements sites (Mike McCandles of 1fast400.com, Deluca of Bodybuilding.com, Labrada.. just to name a few)  have their own opinions but their opinions does not dictate where I purchase my supplements from.

It all comes down to the price and quality and effectiveness of the supplements for me....not because a bodybuilder endorses it...

So IF Ronnie does fall it won't be to Jay.  The IFBB is going to fight the PDI on its on ground and have a Mr Olympia without the gut.  Dexter Jackson will be your next Mr. O because he is what the PDI is looking for in its top athletes.  I mean the IFBB is all about stopping the PDI isn't it?
