It is not an online school none of the schools I applied are online. They are all brick and mortar. Some do offer online classes and hybrid programs where you are on campus part time some do not. But they are all accredited real Law Schools. I am still waiting to hear back from 8 more. I will not make any decisions until I have all the information. I would prefer to attend in person on campus, but I am willing to do a hybrid program as well. It depends where I get in and how much money I get offered. Right now, I am in 1. I am very grateful to be in 1 and happy to be offered a merit scholarship.

If you look at the length of the institution it is very different in length when referred to in the first part and the end of the email plus is addressed as “at” and “to the” which if you think about it makes little grammatical sense.


The whole phrasing of the emails are also too childish sounding. Definitely not beyond the realms of a personality like Brian to try an elaborately construct something like this charade.

Basically straight away it’s a forgery in my opinion I have a keen eye.

Congratulations!  But don’t get too excited by the scholarship.  Earlier in my career I was an admissions Dean at a law school.  We offered scholarships to many students to induce them into coming.  Typically the award comes with the stipulation that you keep your grades “up.”  What we didn’t tell them is that courses are graded on a curve (downward) so that virtually no one can keep their grades up.  The result is you lose your scholarship and have to borrow the full amount to continue progress toward the degree.  For most universities law schools are a cash cow; they bring in lots of money that we use to subsidize other parts of the university that do not generate self supporting revenue.  It’s a great business model.

If you are at a first or second tier law school you are all set.  If you go to a third or fourth tier law school not so much.
