I have been accepted to 2 Law Schools. I am waiting to hear from 7 more I will probably get accepted into at least half of them. Brian : I will not pay $20 for an UBER so I walked 2 miles, uphill on my knees that I often bring a cane with me in my car (just in case).  Also the same knees that buckle frequently going upstairs and funny enough sitting in a chair.  But I digress.

Also Brian : I paid $500 to secure my seat at a law school 2hrs away that I have no plans to attend.  I am going to plop down another $500 soon to secure a seat at a school that is closer but I don't plan to attend either because I can't afford it.

That is what happens with contracts and options sometimes you lose your deposit.

Your logic is so flawed.

For a guy not 100% committed to going to law school you are shelling out a lot of money.  Don't say you aren't 100% committed because you just keep crying about the costs.  You self admittedly are doing this to "prove to my wife and her lawyer friends" that you're as smart as them...and because (cue the hallmark movie channel music) "those mean people on GetBig said I couldn't do it". 

You didn't get a cab simply because you didn't want to spend $20 after spending $20k+.  Makes a lot of sense.  Regardless of that, you complained about the money and then you complained about the walk.  There's no scenario in which you are happy.  You blame others for things that are directly your fault and your decision.

I applied to hybrid online programs and NC Law Schools. They are not just online those would not be aba approved. I applied to ABA approved they are hyrbid you are required to be on campus one week a semester then you take real time classes like zoom with the exact same professors that teach the in person classes. There is nothing bullshit about it you get a standard Syracuse law Degree which allows you to sit for the bar and be a Lawyer which is the goal here.

There are about 20 of them in total. I thought Syracuse sounded cool my grandmother and my mother both graduated from there. I would be 3rd generation legacy.

I am not happy about the money they actually updated my status online today and they did not give me enough money just found out the numbers about 15 minutes ago. They gave other people with my lsat score more money maybe grades do actually count. I need to now wait and see where else I get in and then look at the numbers. Hopefully I get into a public in state tuition law school or someone gives me a bigger scholarship. Now If you want to pay I will go to Harvard but I have other bills.
