I’ve been really disappointed by people who, despite having scientific minds, still hold onto religious beliefs. To me, the evidence we've gathered through science has already disproven the validity of most religious texts. Whether it’s the creation story, miracles, or divine intervention, there's no real scientific support for these ideas. Even if God were to somehow be proven to exist, I don’t think it would validate any of the texts that claim to speak for Him. In my view, any "God" that turns up would likely be more of an abstract force, like an unknown principle of the universe, rather than the personal, interventionist deity these texts describe. It’s frustrating to see people who should be skeptical of faith-based claims still holding on to them.
