But how many more over no one knows.  It's pure political bullshit.  One word justifies all the pardons:  Insurrection!  When governments push lies like that for political prosecutions and purposes it affects far far more than some few poor cops that might get mixed into it, it affects all 330 million Americans, hell, the whole world of 8 billion. Think of how many dead from Bush WMD lies.  Hundreds of thousands.

And Trump granted the pardons only after Biden gave immunity to the entire J6 committee, all of their staff member sand all the cops that testified inclduing that one.  So stop.
I'm for Trump's pardons.

Man I bet it stinks on that plane.

I said it in this thread earlier I believe, but he shouldn’t have issued blanket pardons for all of them. Some of the people who assaulted police officers should’ve been charged and convicted as such. I know it’s a small fraction of the people charged in the riot, but not everybody should’ve gotten off with nothing.

Doesn't it matter how many you think are in that smaller fraction of people who should not have been pardoned?  What if they were just misdemeanors?  How many do you think were in that category of the 1500 pardons that weren't violent or felons?  20?  50?

5-10% of 1500 is 75-150 people.  Should you spend the time and resources to go case by case for 1500 people if the vast vast overwhelming majority were non-violent or misdemeanors (or both) rather than just blanket pardon all and put it behind everyone so the country can move forward?

The folks that assaulted police and it’s known/on camera, should be prosecuted just like anyone else who hits a cop.

As you'd expect from a lying scumbag like Fauci, he insists he has done nothing wrong but he still accepted the pardon.

Quote
"I really truly appreciate the action President Biden has taken today on my behalf.  Let me be perfectly clear, Jon, I have committed no crime, you know that, and there are no possible grounds for any allegation or threat of criminal investigation or prosecution of me."

Here is the full pardon from Nonce Biden, which starts all the way back in January 1st 2014:

https://www.justice.gov/pardon/media/1385746/dl?inline

"A FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL PARDON FOR ANY OFFENSES against the United States which he may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014, through the date of this pardon arising from or in any manner related to his service as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force or the White House COVID-19 Response Team, or as Chief Medical Advisor to the President. Sounds like Hankins

If he pleads guilty he thinks its not a conviction, its like it never happened.

An Indiana man recently pardoned by President Donald Trump for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol has been shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop.

Just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, a Jasper County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over 42-year-old Matthew Huttle of Hobart, Indiana State Police said in news release.

While trying to arrest Huttle, police say he resisted and began struggling with the deputy.

"An altercation took place between the suspect and the officer, which resulted in the officer firing his weapon and fatally wounding the suspect," police said.

Police added that Huttle "was in possession of a firearm" during the traffic stop but did not say whether he wielded the weapon or where exactly it was found.

“For full transparency, I requested the Indiana State Police to investigate this officer-involved shooting,” Jasper County Sheriff Patrick Williamson said in a statement. “Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased as any loss of life is traumatic to those that were close to Mr. Huttle.”

Indiana State Police did not provide additional details about why the sheriff's deputy tried to arrest Huttle and did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for further information about that and the gun they say he had.
Huttle and his uncle were part of Jan. 6

Huttle was arrested in November 2022 after investigators said he was identified on video inside the Capitol building going into “multiple” offices, the Crypt area and hallways on Jan. 6, 2021.

He was sentenced in November 2023 to six months in prison and a year of supervised release after pleading guilty to entering and remaining in a restricted building, a lesser charge than issued to his uncle, Dale Huttle, whom he traveled with that day.

So everyone here is in favor of this guy getting a pardon right?  Got a misdemeanor and no mention of any violence, much less against cops that day. But they arrest him in November 2022, 22 months after the event, yeah that's a great use of resources.

Looks like a plane headed to Europe...
If Trump goes after the Cartels it will be in a controlled "politically effective" fashion - lower profile gangs which threaten the really powerful cartels will be eliminated and the media will utter a sigh of relief.

I think it has been documented they could have caught the cartel leaders at some points. The whole thing is corrupt. I can't say for sure myself but some say they could shut down the flow of drugs from Mexico by 99% in a day if the political will was there. Like they could with the illegal border crossings. And of course the US goverment has been documented in transporting the drugs themselves at various times. The circumstances around getting El Chapo and the other old guy recently are secret.

Exactly, Drug trade and politics is closely tied together - nobody wants the trade to stop but the uncontrollable traffickers eliminated.
