It would help if you provided the quote or even a video, so we could get a better idea of what he meant. For example he could be saying "I always had a good relationship with him, I hate that he was involved in this and it's coming out".....meaning, he might not hate that Clinton's getting outed for this, but hates that he was doing it. You don't get that from your offhand summary of what he said - it's an out of context comment.
I don't know what he meant when he said the latter statement. However, at the time, they were hoping to get her cooperation and testimony on stuff, so maybe he threw that out there. If you need someone's help, chastising them in the press may not be the best option.
However, the 2006 stuff is real.
We all have our biases and interpret accordingly. I read his statement as either he doesn't think Clinton did anything bad or he simply doesn't care or just trying to get people to mov on. Very hard time believing he meant he hates what Clinton did (because where is the proof at this time? LOL). Of course, Clinton has not been charged with a crime, just like Trump. You said you don't think Clinton is "innocent." I don't either, in one pic he is swimming in a pool with Maxwell and what they call a "survivor."
Now here the thing with Ghislaine currently. She has invoked the 5th during questioning so far, but is now saying if she gets a pardon she will clear Trump's name. She has said she doesn't think Epstein killed himself. So what is the likelihood she will tell the truth, let's say if Trump did inappropriate stuff? Very low IMO, I mean she too could be looking at a "suicide" if she implicated very powerful people. Assuming Epstein was killed which I think is likely. She has already, under Trump, been moved to a minimum security prison, she even has a therapy dog.

Trump has said several times he was pissed at Epstein for stealing his employees, "very, very bad." Virginia Giuffre, who is said to have killed herself in Australia last year, was Employed by Trump or Mar-a-Lago or whoever was in charge there, she was working at the spa. Now, I'm assuming she was hired because she was female and good looking. Do you agree that this is likely? So she was there to be ogled at by Trump's rich friends, keep them coming back, if I understand correctly she was underage too at the time. Let me tell you a personal anecdote. My female cousin who is my age started working at a gym reception desk at 15. She was coming home with gifts from older men all the time. Her single mother was just happy and proud, "when you look good you get attention." If I was a father in that situation my daughter would not be taking any gifts from men if I could help it. The result of this? She became a prostitute, she learned early how to make "easy" money with her looks. Tragic and sad and angering to me. I think Virginia Giuffre had about the same trajectory, I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if she too had a bad relationship with her father or he was absent. Another thing, Trump had these beauty pageants where he was judging children parading in front of him in bikinis. Illegal? Apparently not. But very questionable IMO. There were reports that in conjunction with his pageants there were related gatherings where the underage contestants were dancing with old millionaires and were given alcohol too. There's this talk about there being a lot of people in the files who went after the 'barely legal' category which they say is not as serious as going after prepubescent children. Maybe not but here on Getbig most are saying old guys going after even young
adults should be a crime too, at least it's very immoral.
"Epstein likes beautiful women almost as much as I do… many of them on the younger side."But in the case of Trump some give him a pass, despite losing their shit when dating of much younger females is discussed.
One last thing. I think the main reason for Trump wanting people to move on is how bad it looks on a certain country and a certain tribe
