Can't go below 164 lbs!

Hi !

I try to lose some extra pound right now, but this time, it's like i reach a "plateau".  I'm doing the Bill Philips Body for life diet ( You know, one size protein with one size carbs and every vegetables you want each 3 hours ).  I don't know what it's really worth, but worked for me last time.  I pass from 172 lbs to 164, but now, i can't go below that.

I'm 5pi9, 164 lbs , my waist size is 32.  I must be around 12-14% bodyfat  and my BMI is 24,2 ( don't know if that help, but sometime asked), endomorph kind (crappy metabolism)

I work out 3 time a week, plus i'm doing boxing 2 times and Capoeira (another martial art) 2 other time a week.

So will all that, what would be the problem?  I'm pointing the diet because it always was the problem, but maybe not?

If you have question or any idea, thank to share! :)

A example of one day of my diet would look like that:

6h am: 8 eggs whites + 1 fruit or oatmeal

9h am : protein shake with a fruit

12h: one can of tuna with 1/2 cup pasta

15H : Protein shake with fruit

18h: Chicken breast with veggies

21h : Protein shake

Have you had you bf% checked or are you just randomly guessing? 12-14% at your height and weight seems pretty high.

Although fruit is part of a healthy diet, it can hinder losing weight especially once your body weight gets really low. You might try dropping the fruit for a while and see if this helps you push through your sticking point.

Also, try replacing 1 or 2 of your shakes with whole food, and drop the pasta and replace it with more oats or brown rice.

I got my bodyfat checked, so it's really around 12-14%, just being a while but it stille around that.

Do calorie or carb cycling would help?  I planning that for next week...but...a good idea...or that don't matter?

And my diet...to many protein...too many carb?...not enough?

The diet looks decent.  Replace all fruit with fibrous vegetables and you'll start losing lots of fat again.  Eat as many low calorie, high fiber veggies as you can.  The more the better.

You dont have enough muscle mass to equate to an energy deficiency with your current diet. Either cut some calories or add some and build up and then resume.
