MD is being *awfully* friendly to the PDI.  Big writeup this month, interview with Wayne.  Also Romano's interview on the Pro Bbing radio roundtable made it abundantly clear that MD is on board.  And can you blame them? IFBB has treated then like the red haired stepchild at many shows.

I wonder if they will cover any proposed shows in Europe, they haven't before?

Not to start a whole "flame war" going, but what magazines are going to be covering the shows?

there are a lot of magazines outside the US.  if PDI starts having contests in Europe, the European mags will definitely cover them.

I hope PDI gets many of the NABBA pros to compete, such as Sergei Ogorodnikov, Gary Lister, Charles Mario, Hassan Al Saka, Steve Sinton, Costantino Galeazzo

Hi guys. Just wanted to pass a bit of info.

I have been granted PRO status by Wayne Demilia of Pro Division Inc. because of my NABBA 2005 nationals overall win.  This is not some huge announcement or signing as there will be much bigger named people competing.

Just wanted to encourage you all to check out competing in the NABBA, especially the jr. nationals and nationals this fall. By winning the NABBA overall nationals, you can petition to become a Pro in the PDI. You can also compete in other organizations.

Hopefully PDI will be solid and a good second Pro division for BBing and the athletes.  Out of all the BBers out there, there are so few actual pros in our sport.  PDI are also putting more emphasis on aesthetics than the current IFBB so this should help move BBing back in the right direction. Similar to NABBA which rewards physiques which are muscular and aesthetic.  Big guts and synthol need not apply.

Check out www.NABBA.com

Take care,

-John

Congratulations. I hope you light the stage on fire!

Yeah, thats me.  Thank you guys.  I Bodybuild like Jack does, cause I love it.  I have a full time career.  If I am going to compete next year I would change things a bit, focus more on BBing and bring another 10-15lbs to the stage.  Conditioning, shape and symmetry are my strong points naturally but I can add more mass if needed.

Thanks for reading and all the responces.

First off - a GREAT physique. But...in the interest of helping you compete against  Lee Priest and Vince Taylor - you need bigger legs, in particular the hams and calves, but also quads. No idea about the lats as I haven't seen a pic yet. The front and side upper body, though, look amazing!

Yep, I agree.  More squats, also I burned some leg muscle doing too much cardio.  Like I said, I can put on more muscle if needed.  I competed NABBA because guys can get by more with genetics and very minimal contest supps.  To me its important to be healthy.  Here is a quick semi-relaxed back shot since you asked.  Back is a stronger bodypart for me.

"You look familiar".....mike, I'm telling Cheri.  She's pretty hot by the way, you both have really got into good shape.

I had a tree going at my last show in the fall.  Comes out when I get lower in fat.  If you want to see a freaky assed christmas tree, go look at Luke Wood's pics!  His lower back muscles are ridiculous.

AWESOME back! Any back-double bi shots?

Man, you're way ahead of the game - looks like all you need is the legs and it sounds like you've got a game plan to do that (just don't forget the calves ;) ). Can't wait to see what you bring to the NOC. So was Rhino right, you're not doing this year's NOC?

I think I have one but on my other computer...I'll put it up tomorrow.  Back double bi is a good shot for me.  Calves are the only thing that are tough for me to build.   I'll probably never have great calves.
