My theory on the excessive cartoonish plastic surgery these women do is that the purpose is to obfuscate the age. I don’t think they are aiming to retain their beauty, they simply want their age to ambiguous. Like looking old and beautiful is worse than looking inhuman, but god knows how old.

I think they just start panicking when they see changes to their body and then try to fight it with everything at once, leading to ridiculous results
