I just think how easily I could make a mistake or wrong choice or even be wrongly convicted and end up in "federal rape your ass prison" (even though I'm in Europe with "hotel prisons") or be tortured by the government at a "black site" for some made up reason and these types of pain factories just feel wrong. Just kill them instead if need be.
You are obviously a civilized man. In El Salvador gang life, tribal values rule. That is why they are treated like beasts. To send the message and probably because they dont know any better. Being civil to animals is perceived as weakness.
Well it's kinda like the Duterte in the Filippines example I gave. His heavy handed methods drew a lot of criticism world wide but then many said he was just wonderful, just kill the worthless scum without wasting time with trials etc, if a bunch of innoocents are sacrificed at the same time, oh well, it's the price we should gladly pay. I think that's what the President in El Salvador said too, some innocents will be swept along too but it's ok, society benefits overall. I don't know, I think I prefer the more "civilized" western systems despite their faults. Especially when you know guys like Duterte are probably corrupt homicidal psychopaths themselves, who knows what crimes they have done. But I do see the counterarguments.
