Where I live Palestinian colours are sprayed on post boxes & other objects ..oddly enough the Stadt doesn't do anything to clean the shit up.
It's irritating when it's in non-Muslim Euro and other countries. But here it's argued that Muslims get protections because Jews paved the way. Hard for me to disagree. Now the UK is pushing for legislation making it illegal to criticise Muslims, just like they have done for the Jews.

It's also hypocritical for Vance to criticise Europe for the lack of free speech and the cancellations of elections where "extreme right wing" parties won (Romania). Can you criticise Jews in the states? Aren't "white supremacists" characterised as the US's biggest domestic terror threat when they try to organise politically? Every right wing movement starting out is immediately infiltrated by the Feds trying to goad them into crimes they never would otherwise committed. Though Germany tries to outlaw the AfD party, already having pulled the members' legal weapons licenses... Musk and Trump are supporting them although they would do the same in the US
Regarding terrorism and terrorist. As the cliche goes, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Mine and many others' view is that Hamas are more freedom fighters. Yahia Sanwar for example was born into a refugee camp, and he died there. What would you expect of a people with at least some self respect? It's generally agreed that modern terrorism targeting civilians originated in Israel. Remember the hotel David bombing and assassinations of the British in the area at the time. During the Nakba Israel threw a Palestinian boy in the oven, after Oct 7 they tried to concoct a story about Hamas doing the same. Israel acts extrajuducially even all over the world, assassinating people in other countries, kidnapping them and so on. Also don't forget USS Liberty which they never had to answer for, as the US President said, "I don't care about a few dead sailors, I'm not going to risk our relationship with Israel." He had ordered back the planes coming to defend Liberty. The surviving US sailors were warned if they ever spoke about it they would land in prison.
