The rematch is happening today......who ya` got ?

First fight was very close....IMO, Bivol should have won, but such is life.

It should be a great fight at any rate.

I think the fact the 1st fight was only 4 months ago helps Beterbiev.  He came on real strong down the stretch and I think he'll get started quicker this time.  It will be competitive but I think Beterbiev wins by late stoppage or by a more convincing decision.  I thought the 1st fight could go either way.

Parker weighing in at 267 worries me.  Bakole had literally 48 hours notice.  If Parker is in good shape despite of his weight, I think he survives an early scare and wears out Bakole en route to a decision win.  If the weight is too much, I think Bakole scores a 3rd round KO or TKO.

Shakur Stevenson is turning into one of the biggest wastes of talent I've seen this century.  Would love to see him get knocked out.  I think however he'll win another very boring decision.

I think Sheeraz knocks Adames out somewhere around the 8th or 9th round.

Was the Madrimov that fought Crawford the best version of himself we'll ever see?  Ortiz was knocked down a couple times in his last fight.  This one is tough.  Maybe Madrimov could take Crawfords shots better than he'll be able to take Ortiz's.  My brain says pick Madrimov on points but I'll go with Virgil by mid round stoppage.  Not confident in this one.  At all.

Zhang has good moments early but runs out of gas as usual.  I think Kabayel stops him before the end of the 6th round.

Callum Smith is tough but maybe getting long in the tooth.  I think a ref stoppage in Buatsi's favor in the 2nd half of the fight saves Smith from being knocked out violently.

Curious to hear your thoughts.

Yes the first fight was razor close, but I don`t think Beterbiev will stop Bivol........he may win but not by stoppage IMO.

I`m going with Bivol by split decision.

I totally agree about Shakur......a waste and boring.......I hope he loses.

No argument on all the rest you posted.................. makes sense to me,I do hope Smith pulls it off somehow though.

Beterbiev  is 40 and he has said he has no plans to retire and wants to keep boxing for few more years.
Definitely fight to watch that is worth every penny.

Think he got sick. So did Floyd Schofield who was supposed to fight Shakur.

Callum Smith v Josh Butasi was a brutal fight. FOTY nominee for sure. Right guy won (Smith) but one judge had it 11-1 for Smith. That person should be not investigated per say but definitely questioned/critiqued.

WTF happened to Dubois - why is he not fighting.

I saw that a few days ago. The replacement fighter is very good. Probably just as good as fight.

If I had to guess, Dubois probably has a fight in the works for a rematch with Usyk since there was some contrived controversy over the low blow bullshit, and doesn't want to risk an unnecessary injury or a loss.

He'll get beat down even worse.

Glad someone posted the Beterbiev/Bivol rematch.

It must be an early fight card in the states, ive been so busy I didn't even know it was this weekend.

Im guessing Beterbiev wins more convincingly this time. Though I'm rooting for Bivol. I thought he did enough to win the first fight but he was winning rounds while slowly losing the war. My gut feeling is rd 1 of the rematch will be like round 13 and go from there. Beterbievs pressure is unreal and Bivol will get in there and immediately be like "God damn, not this shit again!"

Shakur let a part time pro boxer who is also a part time working stiff as an electrician go 9 rounds with him..........Padel had balls of steel.

Abe you owe me 10 K since Bivol won !   LOL  :D

Great fight. Even better than the 1st won. After 6 I had Beterbiev up 4-2 and thought my prediction was on point. Artur gassed a bit and Dmitri bit down and won the fight. I could live with a draw but happy for Bivol. Beterbiev is a classy mother fucker even in defeat. Hope they wait at least 8 months before part 3. Both guys deserve a break.

I basically made the same prediction as you did. A little surprised Beterbiev gassed. He has always been inexhaustible. But he is almost 40. Sooner or later age was bound to slow him down. 40 ain't the death sentence it used to be for a boxer but it is still old for that sport.

Perhaps Dubois got cold feet & ducked out of fighting Parker.
The got sick without being specific seems a bit dodgy.

Not yet seen the Smith fight , only by all accounts was a war & rightfully Callum won.

Another good battle from Bivol & Betterbiev , I had Bivol winning  by 1 maybe 2rounds

Fair play to Bakole for stepping in to fight Parker last minute , he was far from fight
Ready & it showed with the quick stoppage.

Unfortunately dubois,  despite having many physical gifts has mentality issues.
Lacks fighting heart and guts. Always has.
Don't believe me ask Peacock boxing gym rats.
Been like that since amateur days

I'd say your spot on.
Def something not right about him "being sick" & not fighting.

Kid fought well and had balls of steel !
