What happened to ol Robert Francis O’Rourke? That dude was a flash in the pan but stayed relevant for longer than he should have. He still in politics?

According to this he last ran for Governor of Texas and got wiped out by Greg Abbott.

lol. I was scrolling through Trump memes on my phone and found one of Trump signing the Mexico wall with the tag “Beto is gay”. That’s what brought this up.
