He probably has enough freak factor to grab some movie roles. Bodybuilding wise, his time is long gone.

Over 7 mill followers that alone brings you tons of money.
Won bunch  of shows including 2x ASC and few runner up Olympias.
TV appearances /Stranger Things etc/
He was doing  ok  with his company Dynamik ,but then Aaron gave him lucrative contract with Redcon 1 so Dynamik  had vanished .Tons and tons of guest appearances all over the world.
Guys that used to train with him in 5th ave gym and Oscar Ardon told me he has purchased townhouse in Brooklyn years ago  that is worth now about $1.6 mill
Plus he probably has another property in FL .
He has endorsement deals .
Bottom line no kids no wife = not spending.
Kai Greene hasn’t openly discussed his steroid or PED (performance-enhancing drug) use, but given his elite bodybuilding status, we can make an educated guess based on what’s typical for a top-tier IFBB pro.

Estimated Monthly Steroid & PED Costs for Kai Greene

A high-level bodybuilder like Kai would likely be on a heavy stack, including:

1. Basic Steroid Cycle (High-End Dosages)

Testosterone Enanthate / Cypionate: 2–4g per week → ~$400–$800/month

Trenbolone Acetate / Enanthate: 700–1400mg per week → ~$400–$800/month

Masteron / Primobolan: 700–1400mg per week → ~$500–$1,500/month

Equipoise (Boldenone Undecylenate): 600–1200mg per week → ~$200–$500/month

Orals (Anadrol, Dianabol, Winstrol, etc.): ~$200–$500/month

2. Growth Hormone (GH) & Peptides

Pharmaceutical-Grade GH (Serostim, Norditropin, etc.): 10–20 IU per day → $3,000–$6,000/month

IGF-1 LR3 / Insulin / Other Peptides: ~$500–$1,500/month

3. Ancillaries (Aromatase Inhibitors, Liver/Kidney Protection, etc.)

Aromasin / Arimidex (Estrogen Control): ~$100–$300/month

Cabergoline (Prolactin Control): ~$50–$200/month

Liver/Kidney Protectants (TUDCA, NAC, etc.): ~$100–$300/month

Other Supports (Blood Pressure Meds, etc.): ~$100–$300/month

4. Peaking / Pre-Contest Additions

Diuretics (Aldactone, Lasix, etc.): ~$100–$300/month (only close to a show)

Insulin (Humalog, Humulin-R, etc.): ~$200–$500/month

---

Total Monthly Estimation

Low Estimate: $5,000/month

High Estimate: $10,000+/month (especially with pharma-grade GH)

For an Olympia-level bodybuilder, $8,000–$10,000 per month is a reasonable assumption, particularly given his size, muscle maturity, and conditioning. The biggest cost driver would be growth hormone, which is often the most expensive part of a pro bodybuilder's stack.

This doesn’t include food, supplements, coaching, or recovery treatments, which could easily push his total monthly expenses well over $15,000–$20,000.

I'm surprised he still has endorsement deals when he hasn't competed in a long time.

Not as many as he used to have plus Redcon  only keeps DLB on the payroll, Kai is out so maybe he needs  to pick up that 100k check in Pittsburgh .
Hopefully he is not like 78% pro athletes after the retirement:

If you think a dozen eggs are pricey, try picking up a dozen grapefruits. It’s a tough reality, but Kai has bills to pay, just like a journeyman boxer stepping into the ring for a paycheck.

Kai’s best pose vs Nasser’s worst pose
Good thing you cherry picked pics from the waist up so we wouldn't see Nasser's fat ass and smooth hamstrings. Kai's back, hamstrings, conditioning would wreck Nasser.

Pros don't actually pay for gear; I would be shocked if Kai ever really paid for his gear during his career. Pros and other people connected to the bodybuilding scene  - dealers beg to give them gear, maybe for a few referrals or just the bragging rights of supplying to O competitors. They don't really pay for coaching either; the coach benefits regardless. Most pros also move a little gear, easy extra cash.
