I don't believe I am one of the usual suspects who claimed we don't have communism in the U.S. Because there are most certainly some folks who claim to be communists living here. For example, in 2017 and 2018, CPUSA claimed 5,000 members. In 2019, former Party member Daniel Rosenberg claimed that "nearly half" of new joiners since 2000 had "paid no dues" and merely signed up for the mailing list. In 2023, CPUSA claimed 15,000 members. In 2024, the CPUSA claimed 20,000 members.
Yikes! Twenty thousand members of the CPUSA (Communists)out of approximately 345 million people living in the U.S. in 2024. This is extremely concerning. When do you think they will take over the country?

On the other hand, maybe we should have a conversation about the number of Fascists in the U.S Odds are more than 15 thousand, plus at least one recently elected self-avowed leader of the party.
