I cannot see a durable peaceful solution. Neither side wants surrender nor compromise. So many lives have been lost, it has to be worth something. Of course I think Russia should just pack up and leave, or if not accept the lines where they are and make no further demands of Ukraine to demilitarize etc. But the situation will always remain hot and ready to go. Maybe an asteroid will sort things out.
