Let me tell you all something, I have been promoting shows for nearly 24 years straight. Gary has been one of the most popular athletes I have ever booked. He would rate in the top 5 we have ever brought here in popularity and freak value.

He won our pro show in 89 and came back to pose the year after. As an interview and guest he was second to none, he was incredibly motivating and had time for everyone.

I caught up with Gary at golds and firehouse a few times over the years and he always had time for me. Inspiring as a business man and incredible longevity as a bodybuilder.

If you read this Gary, thanks for the good times and the inspiration for many years.

You would be welcome to do my show in March or can have a free booth at the expo anytime. You are a legend!

from the front he s top 2 with arnold, maybe the best

i met him around 1986-87 in belgium doing a seminar
he was very motivating when he was talking about training intensity and using your brain AND heart to build muscle

Lou just didn't want to compete at that time drug free because he hadn't had the experience to do that. He also felt betrayed as I did because Vince had gotten himself into hot water with the indictment and was passing it off onto us. Every athlete was repeatedly randomly tested which as you know is impossible to cheat on. They come to your home sometimes at 2am to ask for urine samples. I if anyone was tested more than everyone else as Vince wanted me to shrink down and look the part (drug free) but my body was so heavily muscled there was no way I was going to lose all of that muscle as long as I ate my meals and trained smart (Less) The "sauce" was not a factor for me in 1992...I still think at this time I could beat Lou and anyone of the other WBF athletes on or off the "sauce". Jimmy's take on this was correct. One thing we can thank Vince which most of the IFBB athletes don't acknowledge is that suddenly now all athletes in our sport we now being offered contracts and getting money for their efforts. This changed things for bodybuilders. I have no regrets. Its my history and am proud of all of it.

One thing I really cherish is that bodybuilding gave me so many friends that to this day still talk with me and hang out with me. We need friends in life..God gave us each other so we would not be lonely on this earth. Thanks for the kind words from some of you. The others that want to keep taking shots at me...? Well all I have to say to you is bring it because am easily offended when someone labels me sub-par when you sub zero

Also, I think everyone here can understand my so called terrible grammar. Terrible grammar did well for me in my life
