lol  it’s pretty obvious the OP (and many others it seems) have t spent much time around dangerous dudes. They come in all sizes and there are some deadly mthrfckrs that are under 5’9” (many inches in some cases). Not just in the military or other operators - hell there are some coonasses that will fck up your world. I’ve never understood the hang up on size. Obviously most of us are sick fcks that at some point chased being a freak and / or despise having bodyfat - but in the normal world it’s not really important.

Taller people get more "respect," whatever you want to call it, better job opportunities and promotions, bigger pool of women to choose from, you are probably even considered more intelligent, better everything, there's very few pluses to being short. So I'd say it's important. I'm on the short side, barely make this cut, so that's not why I'm saying it. I have noticed that almost all cops here seem to be 6'1'', so I've wondered if I could even have become a cop, haven't checked it out... for me 6'1'' seems like the perfect height, wouldn't want to be much taller I think 8)

Your dad has some fckn balls brother. I had an instructor at Quantico who had been both a sniper and done some tunnel work. His primary MOS was Scout Sniper. Fckn guy was intense - by far the coolest instructor though. Had a cobweb on his trigger arm. This was in 1992 so it had been a little time, so the tattoo was not very sharp. But he has little spiders in the web. Nobody ever asked but we all knew what the spiders represented.
