What makes it more impressive to is you wouldnt be able to mega dose the gh like today to get lean back then

As I recall the stated dose was very, very high for the time, something like 20iu. First guy to really mega dose plain testosterone as well as is standard today.

He was even better than given credit for I think.

It's not quite the same look to the skin, Munzer had more fine detail and Yates looked harder perhaps.

Munzer only had slight structural issues that prevented him from going to the very top. He did have the long legs which is good aesthetically. Same as all the best, Yates among others. But I guess it's the waist to shoulder differential among some other things. IMO no one beats Yates on back, Munzer's was way inferior.

His midsection never seemed to show the same detail as everything else. Strange that.

Munzer was a lot bigger than that I first thought. Seeing him in comparisons he was usually the biggest of one of the biggest on stage.

True. I think it was that the skin wasn't as taut there, so it looked squishy. He actually may have had a water problem, ironically. We know it wasn't fat. It might have been that his organ problems were so severe and the dosages too high. Speculating.

Was that really Andreas' body and liver? If so, someone broke medical ethics laws I would think...

Maybe not the liver in the pic. Liver cysts in bodybuilders aren't that uncommon, probably many have the benign tumors and don't know it. Benign as in not cancerous, but dangerous nonetheless if the blood filled cysts rupture. Several forum posters have discovered them, sometimes sort of by accident as liver enzyme tests may be normal...

"Nature's multivitamin," they say. I've read that the old timers, perhaps even before the steroid era proper, I'm not sure, would eat upwards of 300 pressed liver tabs a day lol. Gironda was big on them. I checked the supp stores here and organ meat tablets actually cost a lot, so I never bought any. Lee Priest used to claim he ate them IIRC. Maybe orchic gland tabs would be good too :D
