Thanks. I have two nephews and they both were raised on ipads from the beginning. One is very ADHD, I mean extreme, jumping on your lap and then jumping off in 2 seconds, and the only way to quiet him was to give him the ipad. Would have needed a leash if taken outside or he would run off, into traffic, climbing somewhere dangerous etc. The other was calm but he too was raised on computers even if my brother took him on long hikes of several hours whenever possible. Both quickly learned English from games and youtube, to the point teachers said they didn't know what the kid was saying because they spoke English (in kindergarten). I guess the internet is both positive and negative, lots of information absorbed very quickly, one took up an interest in weight training and watched a ton of youtube and now knows "everything" about lifting programs, diet, supplements, even PEDs even if he says it's unlikely he'll do them. Also likes history, some politics etc, so it's not all crap. My generation read books if the reading type, but now most seem to get information from videos and dislike reading Speaking of helicoptering, I read that here in Sweden it's common for parents to accompany their kids to their first job interviews after college. This happen in the US? Bosses interviewed for the article of course said that's unacceptable but I don't know how often they succeed in getting the job.

You know he's forcing his kid to do all this.Trying to make up for his own short comings.I've seen 2 year old's on the slopes before, it's a traumatic experience for them.He's one of those asshole dads that makes them do the things "he" wants them to do.It all starts here.His son will grow up hate him and have mental problems, just like hanky does.The cycle will continue.I was skiing in Red River last week, there were these asshole parents forcing a 2-3 year old girl down the slopes. It took this poor child 2 hours to go ~300 yards. Fucking brutal.At the bottom the kid was in full blown tears, totally wasted and tired. Red face and covered in snow, shaking cold. Parents were so happy. Probably posted on the "internet" about what good parents they are for taking her skiing.I wanted to throat punch both of them.
