That Army parade was a disappointment

No dress uniforms, no marching in step.  Just a bunch of grunts in BDUs lazily strolling down the boulevard.



Contrast that with, say China:


Now THATS a proper military parade.

I think the Best Ceremonial Drill i saw was the Gordon Highlanders at Edinburgh Castle in ´88, we the Royal Artillery were there for 2 days firing a salute & then some of us went on a recruiting tour ( mainly around Edinburgh )
The Gordons were excellent
I think the videos above are not a fair comparision because it looked liked a "casual" parade.

More important to focus on combat training and related skills instead of marching and parades.

The goose-step style of marching is also brutal on the joints.

It was fucking pathetic. I say this as a vet. A bad look for the U.S. Army. They looked like they didn't want to be there.

You know the orange turd ran home and cried himself to sleep over the poor attendance.   That he lied about and will lie about. And was begging for donations for.

If he wanted to do something for the troops he could have spent the money on actual vets.
