A good friend has lived in the UK for some time now. Originally an Aussie, he's lived almost everywhere in the Anglosphere 'cept the States (England, Israel, Germany, among many more).
If you're a HUGE Star Wars nerd, you might know of his coffee table cross-section books Lucas hand-picked him to write. Made sense: my friend is a literal rocket scientist, genius and operated the first intelligent tech-oriented SW site, as seen through the eyes and methods of an astrophysicist.

Point being, if you're a product of American universities, you'd expect Curtis to be a bleeding heart type. Nope. He is too smart for that, and he frequently laments the increasingly rapid growth of invasive ethnicities in his area -- fucking OXFORD! Combined with the Thought Police and equally repugnant metagrowth of a whole generation of kids who twirl around their peckers and play Go Fish in their twats, "unsure about how they 'identify'" sort, I fear the UK is just as fucked as the U.S. :/
