Shoulder Twirlers
« on: June 16, 2025, 11:09:11 AM »
ok, that is the only way I know how to describe these things that are taking over my Spam folder.  You know the things they sell to improve your shoulders.  A stick that you twirl in circles so the ball at the end makes loops?

They have been around for years and suddenly I went from getting a spam mail on them once a month to about 20 times a day.

Are they really this popular?

I'm not familiar with this.

Is there a link to this device?

Basically the concept is you grasp the handle and keeping your arm still (facing front, to the side, etc.) use just rotator cuff movement to start the weight at the end swinging around, and the kinetic force generated "builds up" your RC strength.

When I get another spam email I screen capture and post it.  But it was just unusual that all the spam is mostly this now.  And it's been around for a couple years.

If you have issues with your shoulders, invest the 30 bucks and let us know if it "worked" :D

Never heard of it. I tore my right labrum and rehabbed it myself with ytwl and standing external rotations with a band.

I use the TWS from YT and FB stretches for overall health.  They work.

Lol, I've been getting spammed with this too.

Feels like a dowel and two eye screws could accomplish the same thing.

I'm not familiar with those abbreviations.

I haven't benched heavy in 25 years but when I did I also did concerted rotator cuff work and felt it boosted my bench numbers.

TWS is a youtube and facebook poster that has some really good proactive stretching and pain relief techniques.  Especially for shoulders and traps.
