Of course law school is a terrible choice for brian, lawyers doctors and such tend be interested in helping others and society rewards them for their service with high paying careers. I know a few lawyers and of course several doctors and they are all excellent human beings and have genuine passion for helping others.

Bhanky is doing this because he feels inadequate when he is around his wife's work friends who are lawyers, etc.

His wife is probably pressuring him to get off his ass because he is an embarrassment for her being a do-nothing.

Now, he (and she) can say he is in law school when they are at get-togethers and parties.

It's all bs but gives the appearance he is not a loser.
