"Smoking is associated with higher levels of both total and free testosterone in men, but the relationship weakens with age and may be influenced by various factors. Specifically, current smokers tend to have higher testosterone levels compared to non-smokers and ex-smokers, and in younger age groups (40-59), there's a positive association between the number of cigarettes smoked and testosterone levels."

So Van, an interesting question follows:

Does smoking raise test levels or do higher test men tend to smoke and do higher test men smoke a lot?

My guess is smoking does really increase test. I just hope it's the nicotine that does it. Though I don't have natural production so it isn't really relevant to me anyway. Nicotine can have other brain related benefits, having to do with acetylcholine and dopamine etc, lower chance of alzheimers and what have you. Nicotine was actually patented as an anabolic to put into products like aqueous solutions. It increases formation of new blood vessels, angiogenesis, which of course would be bad if you have cancers, but for a bb it might be beneficial.
