But first, Seymour Hersh wrote an article the day before the strike saying how his deep sources told him the bombing was likely coming that weekend and it did. In the new article he said his sources tell him the purpose was to "seal it up," to make it almost impossible to excavate all the rubble. So obviously any claim the Israelis were on the ground and concluded it was total destruction was complete BS, no one could actually go down to see if the halls and centrifuges were in fact destroyed, and obviously couldn't confirm the 600kg or so of 60% enriched uranium was there and destroyed. Seymour has a good track record but it's still not direct from the source.
Trump said the pilots are very, very sad when their heroics are downplayed. No one downplayed anything, the hard technical aspects can be impressive even if you question the effectiveness. That's what journalists are supposed to do. However, what the admin is right on, is that the immediate leak of the classified report is immoral and biased. It DOES show there are elements very close trying to destroy Trump, like there always is.
I said in another thread that the bombing was a performative PR stunt. Obviously the Iranians were forewarned, there wasn't even an attempt at using air defense against the B-2s. Likely they were told this was a 'one and done' deal where it stopped afterwards. Probably the Russians also told Iran to just let it go, don't even attempt fighting it. Interestingly analysts say the claim of complete freedom of skies over Tehran was BS, there is only proof of Israeli planes once flying over a coastal town in Iran. The missiles were sent from Azerbaijan and other countries. The footage over Iran was from drones.
