Isn’t it hormones and chemistry, with mental illness really not entering into it (except for deciding to live with the person)? The curves have nothing to do with intellect and judgement (IMHO).

I think the mental illness refers to the extreme body reconstruction via cosmetic surgery, similar to the dudes who go crazy with synthol.

If you stand back and look at the big picture, the cosmetic surgery (or synthol) are just the most extreme manifestations of the “illness” present across the board.
