I only watched a few seconds. It's the usual "no else knows anything, modern bodybuilding is crap and toxic." It's true that experience is absolutely a wonderful resource. I'm humble but I think I could help newbies, and even veterans, get much better results, get on the right path (in my humble opinion, it's just that, an opinion) faster, and I'm not talking about chemicals, even though there I also could help someone avoid mistakes. I don't offer unsolicited or even solicited advice much. But one thing with these old-timers that irritates me is how they almost always feel they sculpted their physique to their liking, when the truth is that genes dictate maybe 95% of that. The body develops as it wants to. Even that realization has come from experience, and it has just strengthened more and more over time. It's just a recurring theme with almost all of these 8)

I clicked a Charles Glass clip by mistake the other day. It's just complete crap for the most part. If you have bad biceps they aren't going to start growing by lifting the bar over the head in the preacher curl. I always hone my technique according to how I feel, most aficionados do this, but it's not going to do much in the overall picture.

Exactly!  They claim that their genetically predetermined muscle development was a choice.

Almost every single one says this. And every single one looked the same early in their career compared to the end, except overall size.

Not much has changed technically for hypertrophy  since the advent of  DeLorme's method.

"Thomas DeLorme’s work in the 1940 s proposes a progressive resistance exercise (PRE) program based on 10 repetitions maximum (10RM) where subject begins sets of training by performing the first set of 10 at 50% 10RM, the second at 75% 10RM and the third (final) at 100% of the 10RM"

He's selling a $300 course based on ultra high reps, stretching, and breathing exercises.

The end.

Wonder how often the mental health nurses tried wheeling him back inside the hospital.
