Well, not for the people who will lose their jobs obviously. But imagine you are an employer with 1,000 people on the workfloor of a factory.
You will dream of this:

The advantages are off the scales. Humanoid robots
- don't come late
- never strike
- don't steal
- Don't do drugs or alcohol
- no need for bathrooms
- no need for a company canteen
. no HRM department
- no crazy DEI teams
- don't fight each other
- no more "me too" complaints and expensive lawsuits
- no unions
- don't need healthcare insurance
- don't need a pension
- need far less light to function, so less energy costs
- don't call in sick
- can work 24/7 (but do need to charge their batteries every hour or every three hours?)
Ideal for consumers, as it will drive prices and inflation down.
Now that AI is progressing immensely fast the combination of the two will cause massive changes in our societies.
And most will be built in China, they are the experienced experts in mass production for low prices
But still, very cool stuff! Or am I missing some downsides?
