The Epstein files...

What's everyone's take on all of this?

Do you believe there are no files?

Do you believe it's a coordinated denial from both sides because too many prominent people are involved, and it would cause major damage?

Do you believe Trump is backed into a corner and has no choice but to deny them and then ridicule anyone who demands they be released?

Any thoughts or other questions?

Israeli honeypot. Releasing the list would crush faith in our government officials, not that it is very high now anyway.

Alan Dershowitz says there was never a list or a black book.

Of course, even though both sides claimed to have Epsteins list. ::)

He's one of the last intellectually honest liberals left in American public life.

I honestly don't care about that pedo.  People are worked up over conspiracy theories.  There isn't going to be some big payoff whenever they release more info.

I think the fear is that if the files are released, people associated with them and the details those files would provide will be perceived as guilty in the public eye, encouraging more conspiracy theories about their guilt beyond a picture with him. This could lead to massive protests, boycotts, economic interruptions, election influence, etc.

The problem is, even though a person may have had dealings with Epstein, that doesn't mean they engaged in sex trafficking with minors.  But their public perception will be forever tainted.

So people with lots of money and power are making Trump not force the release.

That's my theory anyway lol.

The conspiracy theories are way more believable than the bullshit official story. If there is no list why is Maxwell in prison? Since no men were involved she should be released immediately.

I said something similar"

Of course there's Republicans / Democrats on the list, but I think it's bigger than that.  Releasing everyone involved could have catastrophic effects on the market, the economy, the judicial system, etc, and undermine everything Trump wants to accomplish.  I think Saagar Enjeti might be onto something when he said the recent messaging around "no list" wasn't to convince anyone, but to tell those compromised that they are safe.  To keep the machine going.  I listened to the podcast Super Nattie posted yesterday - it's worth a listen - ex CIA guy give pretty great insight into his dealings with the Mossad.

I just finished reading the science fiction novel "Space Relations" by Donald Barr (father of Bill Barr).

Look up the history behind Donald Barr and Epstein.  Very curious.

This book has been proclaimed as the template for Jeffery Epstein's notorious lifestyle.

Well, I find very little similarities between this book's plot and Epstein's life.

Those who say it does have not read it.  Complete bullshit.

Epstein was in his late teens and early 20's when the book was written.  So that's an additional point about how it doesn't compare.

Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News in February 2025 that the Epstein client list was "sitting on my desk right now to review," citing a "directive" from Trump.

Trump files libel lawsuit over Wall Street Journal report on Jeffrey Epstein’s birthday greeting

Trump faces the challenge of not only proving that the story is false but also that The Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch knew it was false or published it with reckless disregard for the truth.

Should Trump and his lawyers (including perhaps about to be jobless, Alina Habba who was appointed as interim U.S. Attorney for a 120-day term, set to expire on July 22, 2025) talk him into dropping the lawsuit?

Yes.

It takes the angle "how could something this disgusting exist in today's polite society".

He then shows throughout history how it always has, and why elites like dePodesta were so comfortable sharing the hideous shit they're into.

It's about 9 hours - best info I've heard.

The thing is how is it a client list? Did Epstein keep high profile names and a list of children next to them? None of that is proof or would hold up in court. What the American people really want to know is who is on the supposed videos and what are they doing? I want to know who we can publicly shame for their actions. Any sort of list from a guy like Epstein is going to be a list of rich and powerful people, doesn't equate to guilt legally.

It is not whether anyone who the finger points to can be found to be legally guilty of child sexual abuse. There is an implied guilt because of their involvement with Epstein. Guilt by association is just as damaging to a person's reputation as legally provable guilt.

Definitely a concern that innocent people could be smeared.  It happened to Alan Dershowitz.  He cleared his name, but it took years.
