The cancellation comes just days after Stephen Colbert denounced his parent company’s $16 million settlement with President Donald Trump, calling it a “big, fat bribe” for the Skydance merger.

I'm sure Colbert knew he was getting axed so he made the comments on Monday about CBS to save face with his liberal idiots audience/friends. He thought making himself into a martyr would be a good career move and cover the fact that political shows aren't funny or the audience draw that liberals think (exception is Gutfield's show). He gets props on the left a lot for his over the top vaccine support skits but 11 months before Covid he was having skits about being skeptical about vaccines and not trusting big Pharma. Covid came and he did his turn around.

Well, who cares. All such American talkshows are super lame anyway.
Always the same stupid desk, with a photo of a large city as a background. The same dumb couch to the left.
All recorded in the afternoon in some cheap non descript TV studio, located on a business park

If they aren't highly boring they are woke insane. Good riddance, hope they cancel them all    ;D
