Yes, it is typical for crimes of this nature.  This is a public relations disaster.

In particular the area where it happened get a lot of traffic from sporting and other events.  Many of the people going to these are driving from the suburbs.  The businesses in that neighborhood rely heavily on that traffic.  Anyone that know the geography of Cincinnati understands this. 

People have the go to Cincinnati to go to sporting events, but they don't have to stick around before or after the event.

This is the guy that was released on $400 bail. 

Montanez Merriweather, a 34 year old is being named as the ringleader of the violent mob attack on white people in downtown Cincinnati.

Detectives have even called Merriweather the “CATALYST ” to the viscous attack.

He is now facing felonious assault and aggravated riot charges.

But here is the crazy part. He was already out on bond from a July 10th charge for receiving stolen property, possessing weapons while under disability, improperly handling firearms in a vehicle, and carrying concealed weapons.

But here’s the real shocker:
Merriweather’s has deep history of violent crime going back over 15 years.

Back in 2009, he was convicted of aggravated robbery and burglary, kidnapping, with firearms involved, and did seven years plus three more for the gun charges, with parole still hanging over him.

Then in 2019, a stolen property charge was DROPPED, no prosecution.

Same deal in 2022 with another felonious assault charge IGNORED again.

And just a few weeks ago, on July 10, he was hit with charges for receiving stolen property, possessing weapons while under disability, improperly handling firearms in a vehicle, and carrying concealed weapons, yet he posted bond and WALKED FREE.

How does someone with this kind of track record keep slipping through the cracks like this
