Man arrested in Attalla on 32 child sexual abuse charges, $1.1M bond set

A man was arrested on multiple child sexual abuse charges in Attalla Thursday afternoon.

The Prattville Police Department, who reported the arrested, said John Aubrey Grizzell faces 32 charges that include "Production of Child Sexual Abuse Material, Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, and Sexual Abuse in the First Degree."

The police department said the arrest was in connection with outstanding warrants stemming from an ongoing investigation.

Attalla Police officers, working with additional law-enforcement partners, conducted the arrest along Interstate 59 near Exit 183.

Following his arrest, authorities said Grizzell was transported to the Autauga County Metro Jail with a cumulative bond of $1,110,000, cash-only.
