I wonder if the old ptsd wasn't kicking in. We also see that Renee did not comply the agent's request for her to get out of the car, instead she attempts to drive away immediately before she was shot. Unfortunately, what this video does not reveal is whether the ICE agent had reason to fear for his life just prior to shooting Renee Good.

The woman in the second video at one point says, "She (Good) probably thought she could get away with this." This is interesting because nobody in their right mind would think they could get away with running over someone (an ICE agent).

Hordes of folks will weigh-in on what they believe actually happened when Renee Good was shot by the ICE agent. They will slow down the videos, show videos from different angles and so on. Bystanders will also testify to what they believe they witnessed in those couple of minutes or seconds. The ICE agent who shot Renee will testify as to what he was thinking just before he pulled the trigger. Renee's wife will testify her version of what happened, If the dog could talk, it would probably have a version of this. The one person who cannot speak for herself is Renee, leaving everyone to guess as to whether she intended to run down the ICE agent or not.

When Vance said "this was a tragedy of her own making" he was correct. She put herself, her wife, and the dog in harm’s way by not avoiding this protest. In this country, folks have the constitutional right to protest and demonstrate but in doing so they must accept the risks involved. Renee took that risk and tragically she paid for it with her life.
