I wonder how they'd look like on stage without all that last minute depleting/carbing up crap, just stepping on stage right away from their regular routine. I bet many of em would look better.

The guy who won his entire bicep is oil. Doesn’t even flex at all. And how about the fact he had zero control of his midsection? Nick Walker was criticized for this when Derek beat him in Pittsburg, but here it doesnt matter? Even head judge Steve Weinberger said that was a factor in Nick losing.

Just what bbing needs, another under 6ft tall guy with zero marketability. God forbid they award anything based on structure and shape.

Not sure about that oil accusation but agree that the overall look is smooth-ish for #1. But maybe the lighting does play a role. Would need some other views.

They were ALL full of oil in bis, tris and delts most noticeably, but all muscles are touched up. As BB fans you should all notice this easily but some just don't (not saying you don't sway).

Personally i believe the ifbb judges are destroying the sport on purpose

Whatever their individual stories, the leadership are simply muscle mass schmoess, and what defines mass evolves for them. That is the only true motivation. It could be about money and what draws crowds and sponsorships but I think it boils down to pure schmoedom. The other judges follow.

I don't know about that. I think they are bending to pressures of what they think the broader, however small, fan base wants. To be sure there are pressures to judge a certain way, aren't the wannabe judges "tested" by how close they follow the actual established judges? Milos is always hilarious on the topic of judging and often I agree. They just cut a lot of fellas before they have even hit one pose, extreme hurry to keep the timetables in shows, Milos is always wanting extended comparisons, a few more hours of them, I mean I guess they could do that in the pre-judging if they had the patience... :D

same in amateur shows, if you dont get in the initial sift on the quater turns (judges place their top six then) then you are pretty much fucked regardless of how much you shine after, judges seldom change their mind in the initial pick
