Crypto People Please Help
« on: August 04, 2025, 02:44:15 PM »
asking for afriend cause lol like Id have any crypto

I have XRP on a leger cold wallet.
Are leger wallets secure?

How do I check wallet contents on the computer?

Do I have to download something called leger live?

How do I safely move from a leger cold wallet to a better or more secure cold wallet?

Do I have to move XRP from a leger cold wallet to an exchange to get it to a new cold wallet?

If so, how to do that?

What's the best cold wallet to buy to hold XRP / XLM or any other crypto?

Probably have more questions but that's where I'm at.

Thanks

Did they buy the wallet from the Ledger website? It comes with instructions and, yeah, they'll need to go to www.ledger.com/start and download Ledger Live then sync the wallet. This sounds like someone gave them a wallet with XRP on it already, which means they also have access to the seed phrase and can withdraw the contents.

I use it (Ledger wallet) and enjoy its simplicity but there's others who have much more knowledge on this subject. Flexacon is probably your guy.

To paraphrase Rodney Dangerfield, "When you own crypto currency, you own an electron's fart."

With stock, somewhere is a physical object...A factory/company. Manufacturing or intellectual property.

With crypto...There is no physical manufacturing or intellectual output on which to base wealth. There has to be someone running a Data system somewhere. If there are none, if they all stopped, there is no way to cash out.

It is the ultimate pyramid...The earlier activities get money from the later pursuers, leaving the latecomers high and dry.

It probably got deleted because they know your DMs would be full of scammers trying to offer to help you.

You really wanna try avoid asking random people for advise about crypto wallets (that includes anyone on here) for the above reason.

Ledger is fine though and it will do everything you're looking for. I asked grok Ai your questions and it answered everything accurately and very thoroughly. If you can't ask it yourself I can post the response on here
