Interesting comparing Sweden and US on this. I live in a heavily Palestinian area in US. Lots of overt anti-Israel sentiment, not so much direct anti US sentiment, except for support of Israel of course. Maybe the difference is Palestinians/Jordanians (here), who are totally focused on the situation in Palestine, versus migrants from other places (Sweden?), maybe more downtrodden and more mixed bag. Or is it a difference in how Sweden is perceived by immigrants (oh so perfect?) vs. how US is perceived (kind of a big mess, probably easier to “blend in”?).
The big difference is the welfare state here. Official Swedish government pages basically advertised how wonderful Sweden is for immigrants and asylum-seekers. You get more in benefits vs some job that doesn't require skills or education, so why work, no reason at all. The ones who come get back-pay for all their kids and start-up capital for to get settled here, they help you get an apartment vs the few white Swedish citizens who are homeless.
As I understand it, the US is more of a "make your own way" kind of country. Delegations of politicians from here go to the US and Canada to study how come Somalis are more "successful" there. You don't need to study shit, the reasons are obvious.
And this boogaboo of racism is so extremely entrenched here, but of course it's just the white solidarity that is racism, pretty much the same as in the US. That's why I say this is all because of WWII. Jews started the crying about "hate" and "racism" and then helped the Muslims in to the same grift. I always say we need more racism, not less. And it's got little to do with hating or oppressing others, it's about looking at your own self-interests, as Hitler himself said. Yes there was hate against Jews, but the main thrust was that certain amount of racism is completely natural and in fact healthy. But whites have internalized all this absolutely massive propagada they've received from the cradle on.
