What does your diet look like and do you take any supplements?
On weekdays, I often (but not always) eat only once a day in the evening, as I put a good amount of faith in the contestable health claims linked to that practice. Very often whole eggs (I buy the most expensive ones that claim the chickens live naturally, even though I have no solid evidence), often strip loin, sometimes beef hamburger meat, rice, pasta, very often roasted chicken with the skin (this is one of the items in my diet that I question as I am not sure what mystery concoctions they grease up the chicken with), I only use natural butter from grass fed cows, no seed oils, no fake "healthy butter", sometimes I put some olive oil on my pasta. Make my own tomato sauce, never eat any premade sauces. I also often eat prawns in self made sauce based on 35% fat cream. Goat milk cheese as well. A great variety of different fruits but not in huge quantities. I drink mostly water, but sometimes make some fruit smoothies. I still drink coffee during the week usually one a day but I think its probably unhealthy. I dont drink any alcohol. I avoid plastics as much as realistic for soneone who gets his food from the supermarket. Also dont use teflon pans and all kinds of tinfoil hat precautionary measures which are not always incontestable.
Mainstream would expect my cholesterol to be trash (because of the eggs, the butter, the chicken skin..) but it is great (I think)
Total 142 mg/dL
Hdl 53 mg/dL
Non hdl 89 mg/dL
Total to hdl ratio 2.68 mg/mg
Ldl calculated 76 mg/dL
Triglicerides 51 mg/dL
I take lot of vitamins and high grade fish oil because I was led to believe it is good for cholesterol
