A meltdown because you were called out for being incorrect.
And NOBODY knows you either so your point is ??  ::)
What the Fuck have stinky unwashed muslims got to do with
what you were talking about.
With all the Loony leftist policies in Californian you should concern
yourself with whats going there - not her in UK.

It's not a meltdown for talking shit back. If you think that it is, you are a bigger idiot than NaturalWonderWoman.

I never claimed to be anyone so you are assuming again because of your retardedness. I bet if you google Jim's name over JoShittys, Jim will have more press and pages.

California is a shit hole but we are not being taken over by muslims like you guys are. Get ready to convert soon because Sharia Law is coming and you cowards are too afraid to take your country back. We are good here in the US because we have Trump. You guys have that clown Starmer who loves the muslims.

I'm highly biased since I have this f-ing deadlift and 'heavy weights' obsession, but regarding avoiding heavy lifts to live well into old age...

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOOtWtlDNZL/?igsh=NHBhYjY1MHVlNHM0

I think there's a few ways to think about this. I didn't read the discussion on the post but have liked this Adam fella previously. Thoughts? :)

I have this 58 or 59 year old friend who I've deadlifted with for 10 or 15 years, I forget exactly. He grinds out heavy deads every week with his back bending like a banana. On top of working as a painter hauling paint cans up 8 stories and so on. Here he is with 562lbs at 182lbs. Lifetime nachuralo.

Question is, should he stop or keep it going ('use it or lose it')?

Hmmm very easily Triggered arent you -

You have issues with Natural wonder / Joswift & myself all in 1 post
What because we challenge what you've said.
You called Jo a Nobody & i replied you are a nobody & off you go
on some Idiotic Rant.

As far as the UK & muslims oh yes we do have mounting issues &
Stammer & co are Traitors following a pre-planned agenda just the
same one as Europe & very likely the Dummycraps.
Yes you currently have Donald thankfully for you& I very much hope
he pushes back all the Loomy Libturd ideology & exposes their agenda,
which he's obviously aware of though he hasn't thus far.

You portray yourself as “Mr. TMZ” who is bringing us the big, worthless story of the elderly bodybuilder who you think is the scoop of the year. Like he’s the talk of the industry!

And you thought we all would be amazed and inspired seeing his journey. Good for him still having that passion…hopefully he’s not being forced by you or anyone to compete to make you money.

Jim looks horrible and shouldn’t be on stage subjecting his body to such stress abuse from contest prep.

I’m familiar with Joswift’s career and accomplishments. But I’ve never heard of this fossil Jim and never heard of you except for this thread. Apparently you’re some kind of weird, creepy Halloween pervert or something is what I’ve gathered from reading this thread. And I’ve never once seen Jim’s name mentioned anywhere else and never heard any relevant pro bodybuilder mentioning him.

And I still would like to know if Jay actually wanted to make that “shout out” (which I will never watch) or if he was paid off to make that shout out. Kind of seems like a Cameo message you hired Jay to make for Jim. Was it Jim’s birthday or something? And Jay’s cameo was the gift?

Jim doesn’t seem like he had a very successful career if the only achievement he had was in his 90s and it’s only a short 10 second message from a retired refrigerator.

And great job ruining Jim’s image and career by acting like an unhinged nut job on here. Boy, Jim is lucky to know you. But does he actually? I still have my doubts. Does he know you’re plastering his photos all over the place?

By the looks of it, Jim carbs up on french toast and pumps up with strict curls like a true champion.

I think he needs to lower the weight, improve his form and work back up.

I see both sides. That Adam Meakins fella on IG says there's really no such thing as correct posture and thus deadlift form. He also thinks a 'Jefferson curl' deadlift where you lift with an intentionally bent back, albeit with light weights, can be a useful back exercise to strengthen end ranges; he makes the point that IRL you don't pick up things off the floor with a straight back and so on. Now loading heavy will increase wear and tear on the back over time but otoh it will also often thicken and strengthen tissues so they can handle it ... if it doesn't break down that is. My upper back is naturally bent in the deadlift, I have some degree of kyphosis, and I've been exöeriencing upper back pain. MR imaging showed nl herniations though which surprised me, considering over 2 decades of weekly loading in excess of 300kg/660lbs.

My friend's back is "out" every now and then but he has found, like me, that it occurs more frequently when you get away from heavy stuff like deads. His hips are more shot though, can only squat a bit on smith and has a hard time extending one leg fully in the dead. But year in and year out he keeps hammering the dead weekly, it's a hobby and a pleasure (though painful) LOL

Form looks really bad to me he should work on his flexibility more and care more about his spinal health.

I do hear what you're saying, but hear me out LOL. There is an argument that some might for example not get harmed by rounding the back when lifting. Some, such as myself, might have some "natural" kyphosis, rouding of the upper back and when lifting anything on the "heavy" side that's how the spine will sit. I'll see if I can find a certain graphic of "natural" spinal alignments where the point is that not everyone should or even can stand straight with the shoulders back as many think is ideal. Krankenstein will probably have opinions on all this, maybe he wants to comment  8)

Edit: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=359767334665528

I posted about my friend for conversation's sake, he's not asking for advice nor am I telling my senior what he should do; we all, including himself, laugh about his "shitty" deadlift form :D The question for conversation is whether he will regret this in 10 or 20 years or if he'll be in worse shape than the average senior citizen as far as physical problems go. He'd do this even if he thought it was somewhat harmful since it's fun for him. He just keeps hammering the deads consistently year round and loves it.
