I think the reason is rather that there was no skin cancer awareness back then as opposed to now. Arnold and Franco would cover themselves in olive oil tanning for hours in the midday sun on Venice beach back then, today everybody knows that's basically suicidal behaviour.

Urs looks much better in the Open vs. Classic.  Just watched the prejudging on YouTube.  Urs is definitely top 3. IMO he's the winner.  He's the best overall.

Yeah, I'm shocked. He looks great. If he can fill out his mid to low back a little more, he's a legit contender in all shows other than the Olympia and Arnold (for now). His conditioning will carry him far. He looks so much better in the open. Props to Urs. He far exceeded my expectations.

I'm afraid there are some nerval issues, because his left calf is gettin' that eroded Dennis Wolf look as well more and more. It's a shame considering how big and full his calves were in the early days.
