I actually worked arms today. I use a very standard arm day with high volume:

Cable curls: 4 sets
Dumbbell preacher curls: 4 sets
Hammer curls: 4 sets
Concentration curls: 4 sets
Machine curls: 4 sets

Pressdowns: 4 sets
Overhead extensions: 4 sets
Dips: 4 sets
Underhand pressdowns: 4 sets

Isn't 5'9" optimal in the Bodybuilding-world for building impressive mass?

Not many taller been that successful beside Arnold, Gunther, Chris Bumrush etc

When you are 6'6" its much more difficult to build mass with class and to be able to show off that perfect symmetry.

Maybe 5'9" was ideal back in the 70s, and 5'11 today?

It seems the judges value amount of muscle more today than symmetry and aesthetics

This guy has a good physique and big arms, but completely lacks a bicep peak.  I don't think I have ever seen any this flat.
