To me, whats impressive is that he's locked his knees. I mostly see people these days bending their knees when doing stiff legs and claiming they're doing stiff legs but they're not.

Well, stiff legs doesn't imply straight legs just stiff does it... you also have the straight leg deadlift As falco says the straight leg does at least feel injurious to me, but I've done every variation imaginable.
