Use your common sense.  If the man had levels of the most dangerous drug on the streets in his system at levels that exceeded a fatal dose by orders of magnitude, he was going to die.

Here is what the medical examiner said, sort of speaking out of both sides of his mouth, but essentially admitting this was an overdose:

Handwritten notes of a law enforcement interview with Dr. Andrew Baker, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, say Floyd had 11 ng/mL of fentanyl in his system.

"If he were found dead at home alone and no other apparent causes, this could be acceptable to call an OD. Deaths have been certified with levels of 3," Baker told investigators.

In another new document, Baker said, "That is a fatal level of fentanyl under normal circumstances."

But then Baker added, "I am not saying this killed him."

https://www.kare11.com/article/news/local/george-floyd/new-court-docs-say-george-floyd-had-fatal-level-of-fentanyl-in-his-system/89-ed69d09d-a9ec-481c-90fe-7acd4ead3d04

Derek Chauvin had his knee on George Floyd's neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds. Pressure on the neck is considered deadly force because it can restrict oxygen flow to the brain, leading to death in just minutes or even seconds.

No he did not.  Have you watched all of the body cam footage?  His knee was on Floyd's traps using a "maximum restraint technique" that he was trained to use.  His superiors outright lied on the witness stand saying it was not an approved technique.  And the judge refused to allow evidence (a power point presentation used to train officers) showing that precise technique.

Again, use your common sense.  If Chauvin had his knee on Floyd's neck for 9 minutes there would be at least some bruising or damage to his neck.  There was none.

I know you are probably invested in the narrative that was sold to the entire country.  Even I was fooled initially by what I thought I saw.  But when I looked at all of the evidence it's really obvious that the man died of a fentanyl overdose.  What I'm always willing to do is change my mind when presented with facts.

Really?

A jury of his peers and the coroner believed this it is why he died. George Floyd died from cardiopulmonary arrest caused by neck and back compression. The official autopsy done by Dr. Andrew Baker, Hennepin County Medical Examiner concluded George Floyd's death was a homicide due to "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression". Derek Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd in a 2021 state trial.

Here are more comments made by the medical examiner:

"He told me that there were no medical findings that showed any injury to the vital structures of Mr. Floyd’s neck. There were no medical indications of asphyxia or strangulation.

"He said to me, ‘Amy, what happens when the actual evidence doesn't match up with the public narrative that everyone's already decided on?’ And then he said, ‘This is the kind of case that ends careers.’"

Did you get this nonsense directly from Tucker Carlson? LOL!

So what? Dr. Baker's final official cause of death ruling for George Floyd was homicide, with "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression" being the main factors. Understandably, the jury in Derek Chauvin's trial believed Dr Baker because Derek Chauvin was found guilty and went to prison where he currently resides.

Trump desperately continues trying to get National Guard troops to Portland without success. On Sunday Trump ranted "Portland is burning to the ground." Yeah right.  ::)

Their imaginations?

Red states are by in large economic drains while blue states subsidize them. Of course the highest crime areas are the cities and of course all the major cities aka the money makers are dem run. Is there any red cities of any magnitude?

It's like demo run stuff seems to be better off economically and red run stuff is more authoritarian, stricter etc.. One too far ahead of itself and one too far behind.

This might be the stupidest thing you've repeated from your tv. Have you ever been to a "blue" city? Have you driven through or around LA? It produces more cash flow because of it's location, not because of it's political affiliation and I would go so far to say it's political affiliation holds back the economy dramatically.

You obviously didn't read the link I provided, which is a transcript of testimony containing the quotes.  What in the world does Tucker Carlson have to do with any of this?  You sound like a zombie.

You failed the intellectual honesty test.  I gave you a link to the autopsy showing a lethal dose of fentanyl in Floyd's system and no damage to his neck.  I gave you a link to the ME's own words admitting this would normally be deemed an overdose.  I just gave you a link showing the ME was concerned that the actual cause of death didn't fit the public narrative.  You ignored all of that.  Just like a zombie.

And the fact is that Derek Chauvin was found guilty of the following charges:

State Convictions (April 2021):

Second-degree murder: Causing the death of another person unintentionally while committing a felony.
Third-degree murder: Causing the death of another person through an act that is dangerous to others and shows a depraved disregard for human life.
Second-degree manslaughter: Causing death through culpable negligence that creates an unreasonable risk of harm.

Federal Guilt (December 2021):

Depriving George Floyd of his rights: Chauvin admitted to willfully depriving Mr. Floyd of his constitutional right to be free from unreasonable force, which resulted in his death.
Failing to provide medical aid: He also pleaded guilty to failing to provide medical assistance to Mr. Floyd.
Violating a minor's rights: Chauvin also pleaded guilty to violating the constitutional rights of a then-14-year-old child during another incident in 2017.

"The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear his state murder conviction appeal in November 2023, effectively upholding it. However, he continues to pursue avenues to overturn his separate federal conviction, including a recent motion filed in November 2023."

Now you have been presented the facts. Although I doubt they will change your mind.

The only facts you presented are the jury's verdict.  You skipped over the autopsy report, the ME's comments, the judge's refusal to allow evidence of the training showing the precise restraint technique used by Chauvin, the cherry-picked body cam footage, etc., etc.

At this point, the only fact that carries any weight is the Jury's verdict. You do realize that the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear his state murder conviction appeal in November 2023.

The federal case Violation of George Floyd's Civil Rights: In December 2021, Derek Chauvin pleaded guilty to the civil rights violations, and he admitted to using excessive force against George Floyd, depriving him of his constitutional rights. Derek Chauvin filed a motion in federal court in November 2023 to overturn this conviction. His appeals argument is that he would never have pleaded guilty if he had known of the alternative theory regarding George Floyd's death.

Even if this appeal overturned his federal conviction, it would not reduce the length of his incarceration since he is severing his state and federal sentences concurrently.

This is a prime example of an act of war. LOL!

Man accused of throwing water bottle at officer outside ICE building in Portland arrested.

A judge ordered the 29-year-old man released from custody on the condition he stay away from the Portland ICE facility.

The judge sounds as if he was corrupt - why on earth would he not allow the
Police training evidence. 🤬

The judge was a former prosecutor who previously worked in the same office that prosecuted Chauvin.  The judge was likely doing what the jury did:  reach a decision that would not result in more rioting, murder, mayhem, death threats, etc.  It's results oriented decision making, where someone reaches the conclusion first then accepts or dismisses evidence to support that conclusion.
