And if this happens again, I don’t want to hear one fucking word about how Israel is defending itself and if it does happen, they should go after HAMAS three times as hard. All of you making excuses for HAMAS (almost 90% of Palestinians support HAMAS) have no idea what you’re talking about
Israel built up Hamas to weaken the Palestinian authority and Fatah. There have also been allegations that just before Oct 7 Netanyahu approved Qatari payments to Hamas. Do
you know what you're talking about is the question?
From an article:
Far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich once described Hamas as an “asset” for Israel, in a tweet that was unearthed on Tuesday.
Mr Smotrich, long one of the main players in Israel’s growing far-right, said in the same post on Twitter from 2015 that the Palestinian Authority was a “burden”.
The discovery adds to swirling allegations that Israeli policymakers have over the years been taking decisions that empower Hamas in a bid to weaken the rival PA, which has long been the international community’s preferred governing body in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
The PA is supposed to be interim governing body for Palestinians until the creation of an independent Palestinian state.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/for-years-netanyahu-propped-up-hamas-now-its-blown-up-in-our-faces/Now Trump in typical fashion is all over the place. He said he's allowed Hamas to take over Gaza to establish order. When that horrible Hamas execution video surfaced, Trump said this:
"They did take out a couple of gangs that were very bad, very, very bad gangs. And they did take them out, and they killed a number of gang members, and that didn't bother me much, to be honest with you. That's okay," Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday, alongside Argentinian President Javier Milei. Then a while later he says Hamas has to disarm or "we will go in there and take care of it, easy." Isn't it incredible Hamas still hasn't been disarmed? There's hardly two stones stacked in Gaza

How easy will it be to disarm them now? Trump did clarify he didn't mean "we" as in US troops but the Israelis haven't managed to do it so far.
From wiki:
"In a controversial deal, Israel's government under Benjamin Netanyahu supported Qatar's payments to Hamas for many years, in the hope that it would turn Hamas into an effective counterweight to the Palestinian Authority and prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qatari_support_for_Hamas"In the late 2010s and early 2020s, Israeli officials encouraged Qatari support for Hamas,[8] especially by way of approving the transfer of large sums of financial aid by Qatar's government to the organization.[9] Several Israeli intelligence officials have cited Qatari money as a contributing factor to the success of Hamas in leading the October 7 attacks in 2023;[10] Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in response to this information becoming increasingly known among the Israeli public and worldwide during the ensuing Gaza war, stated that Qatar's aid transfers to the Hamas government had been approved for humanitarian reasons."[11]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_support_for_Hamas
