I’ve read not just the communist manifesto but Alinski’s rules for radicals as well. There are several things you’re not understanding. You’re referring to Marxism as it was written in the 1800’s. Him (and you) saying that communism comes after capitalism is an obviously failed theory. But regardless of that, we’re in the 21 century, not the 19th.
The left is forcing Marxism/Communism on capitalism, it’s not just a natural progression like it’s being interpreted. The left uses trigger words “Nazi” “Fascist” “dictator” with the noobs that are low level paid rioters not knowing the meaning of it and not understanding that THEY’RE the ones that are the closest to those from Nazi era of fascism.
See Rules for Radicals.
sorry what am I not understanding? what you wrote sounds like a kid who didnt read the book and is writing an essay. There has been no instances of communism after capitalism because capitalism is not over, we are tech in late stage capitalism. The idea would be wealth accumulation to meet the needs of the many which can only happen after the generation of such a thing was created, it has not been.
the communist manifesto is pamphlet. Read das kapital if you actually want to understand his critiques. Some are spot on like the increase in inequality that the system will create and the eventual and current commodification of human being. Other things were quite wrong.
Communism simply can't work unless there is enough capital and the means of production are automated enough such that ownership wasn't in the group of an elite few.
Any attempts at actual communism were doomed to failure because it simply isn't ready and maybe never will be.
Capitalism is the best producer of wealth and accumulation we have invented. However, its major downside is that its destruction is built into its machinery. Resources are finite, profit cannot be infinite and inequality will continue to stretch. This will reach a singularity and something new has to be made/done.
I have no idea what that system will be but we are in the endgame now.
