2025 Olympia - Was Derek going weak at the finals?

His arms look painful, that look when too much oil is present. They all abuse synthol, the key is using enough but not too much as you spoil the effect completely. Derek has no separation between bicep heads, or even between the bicep and triceps.

Should one body part carry more weight when deciding these things? We already know the back wins the show, but the arm is such an important muscle group. I think perhaps 75% started training to get big fuckin arms, even the female bodybuilders have better arms than Derek.

Fair enough - I agree oil's bad, but I was more aiming to show the point about their on-the-day definition could be better for some modern guys like Derek

Site enhancements don't cause the thick skin look throughout. The thick skin is mostly genetic IMO but can also be affected by drug choices and perhaps this years long overfeeding too. Derek said he was basically running on fumes in his pre-comp vid, and while he has been running deficits there's lots of food coming in all the time; most of us couldn't even consume as much food as they do pre-contest. There are some competitors who have much thinner skin that Derek or Walker like Krizo and the approaches to bodybuilding aren't that different so that's why I say it's genetic to a large extent. But OTOH there's the curious case of harder glutes yet overall smoother backs on the guys. The actual subcutaneous fat levels are lower today that in the 90s IMO.

This fella attempts to make some sort of case regarding Derek's lats that one year. Let me know what you think.

Whatever bodybuilders shoot in their muscles don't generally leave any welts. Unless you do something strange you never did before I guess. Iris Kyle obviously shot a bad batch of gear in her glutes one year which should never happen and it was very strange it happened to someone of her experience.
