Are you really saying Trump doesn't want as much freedom to act unilaterally as possible? Again note I'm not casting a value judgement on it in this argument. He wants to for example be able to start wars without congressional debate or wage sanctions wars without any constraints just on his own whims.
This is retarded. If local authorities cannot stop or control the amount of illegal crime in certain areas, the federal government should step in. The after effect should be interesting and expose the local governments as being complacent in the crimes in those areas.
As I said, I wasn't saying it was good or bad what he's doing. I have read opposing views from the "right wing"... some saying hit the left hard now, take off the gloves and destroy them now when there's a chance and don't worry about the "civil liberties" so much. Others have cautioned that the strongman tactics will be turned on the wrong-thinking right wingers before long, imagine if the Dems get into power next go around and you have these new structures like militarized ICE in place. I think most people, on either side, would preferably not see a big police or military presence in cities or anywhere. It's like metal detectors and armed guards and armed teachers in schools,

Regarding the gun debate you had with 38. I sympathize with the pro gun crowd like yourself and Coach. But on the other hand 38 actually shot someone with an illegal gun so I listen to him as well
