Kinda reminds me of the intro to Over the Top where Lincoln Hawk shows up to his son’s graduation and all the people are staring at him like he just stepped in dog shit. Hawk was supposed to appear underdressed in the scene and even he wasn’t wearing a hat

I see what you’re trying to do and it needs to stop. He and Hankins are completely different.

First Lincoln Hawk was a deadbeat dad. He just shows up after 10 years and walks into his kids life?

Second Hawk was blue collar not blue blood.

Third Lincoln was a true competitor seeking out the best competition on the biggest stage. And he was a winner. And an entrepreneur, starting his logistics company from the ground up.

Also he couldn’t wear the hat in public because it would have flipped the switch and the outcome would have been similar to John Rambo stumbling into that sleepy Pacific Northwest town.
