Running The Rack,Triple Drop- Sets,Laterals Behind The Back, both with DB`s and cables, and a few more have always worked great for me.
The only thing I do for shoulders any more is laterals and rear delt. I use 12-15lbs and slight bend in arm, tipped forward the whole way, going from about 6-8” away from hips and going till slightly above shoulder height pause for 1-2 seconds each rep and last row of each set pause for 5-10 seconds. I do about 15-20 sets of laterals once a week. Shoulders are the best they have ever looked.
If u wann build huge cannonball delts there's now way around super-heavy side laterals
It´s funny when idiots attach bands to free weights From my experience use one or the other but bands will not build size like free weights.DB side laterals ..bread & butter exercise
bands put way more strain on the muscle than a dumbbell With a band the tension never comes off, with a dumbell the downward is uncontrolled (for most people) and allows the muscle to rest with a band you have to resist it.
Yeah i know all this but this was said years ago about cables.. oddly enough no one has built big Guns doing cable curls or a big set of wheels doing sissy squats.cables are OK but not the main stay of a mass routine
great, now explain how a muscle knows the difference between a dumbell and a cable?
why are some eggs Brown & some are white?
depends on the colour of the hens anus...
You have to resist both. I think you meant to say that at some point there is little to no tension on the muscle with the DB but with a band there will 'always' be tension. That is more of a 'physics' thing because of where you have the band running vs. the db.Also, a DB will always be the weight....with a band, the farther you stretch, the more 'weight' (tension) on it.
