I’m currently correcting scapular winging and this move has been making my shoulders feel amazing so far.

Yeah, no....I do not recommend whatever this is...

YTWL, Standing external and internal rotation with bands. Learn scapula retraction and control.

This fixes most. Standing straight arm front raises 30 degrees off centerline will handle any pain from benching, shoulders etc.

Everyone's body is different. This move has helped me, but is only a variation in addition to other exercises.

I'm glad you have found what works for you. The moves you described are great and I do those as well.

Have you had any issues with winging?

I've never heard of it honestly.

Just variation on using a weight plate, kettlebell, or the weighted clubs.  Keeps shoulder joint mobile and you need to have control over a lot of the musculature of the shoulder.

1) Trap 3 raise or even Lu raises
2) A, Y, and T exercise
3) Push up Plus
4) Shoulder CARS

Great, you don't recommend.  Duly noted.  You have never heard of winging scapula yet you throw exercises at him.

Not all 'lettered' exercises are to be thrown at this.

External and Internal rotators are NOT direct issues of winging scapula.  Your 'standing front arm raise' is called scaption and it does NOT handle "any" pain.  It will address serratus, lower trap, and supraspinatus if done properly.  Put people against a wall or have them do it seated with a back rest and there is a dramatic difference in the weight being used (reveals how much swinging and cheating is done).

Thank you for the recommendations. The A Y T series even at bodyweight makes my arms quiver and shake like crazy but feel awesome after.  I would love to try the clubs sometime. I've tried the LU raises but haven't done them much. I found them extremely challenging. Do you like them w/ plates or dumbells?
